Experience: As expert in the field of
economics legislation, Dr. Sharafeldin has participated
in the preparation of some legislations such as
companies investment and financial lease laws. He is
charged to set up contract models of financial lease.
In its quality as a professor of business law he
is the author of several manuals on certain aspects of
that branch like insurance, contract drafting,
investment contracts, mortgage, construction contracts
and arbitration. Many of those books has been printed by
relevant competent entities like Judges' Club,
Investment Authority, Arab Academy for Financial and
Banking Institute and Public Authority for Book in
Cairo.
As legal advisor, Dr. Sharafeldin is
provinding legal services to government entities and
banks and large contruction projects like Naga Hamadi
Barrage and Hydro-power Plant project (Egypt). He also
is the legal advisor of the Estate Construction Company;
Arab Contractors. On the regional and International
Level he was the legal advisor of the Inter-Arab
Investment guarantee Corporation and subsequently member
of its board. He has been nominated by the Ministry of
Commerce as a panel member on the WTO list of penalists.
As to Arbitration practice, Dr. Sharafeldin
has participated in the settlement of disputes
mechanism either locally or internationally,
as member or chairman of Arbitral Tribunals,
and this in such disputes matters as those pertaining
to construction, capital market, information
technology, computer softwares, patents, commercial
agency and distribution, commercial centers,
hotels management, gaz and piplines and investment
guarantees.
